Clinical experience of fibrin glue(Beriplast^(¢ç) P) in neurosurgery

Abstract
From March 1988 to August 1988, bacterial culture and sensitivity tests of 15 drugs were performed on 47 patients from Po Seung hospital.
The result was that previously effective antibiotics such as Gentamycin, Kanamycin, Lincocin, Piperacillin, Ampicillin, and Tobramycin all showed resistances that, in hospitals with similar conditions and sizes as Po Seung Hospital, favorable results will most likely not be expected with these drugs.
Ofloxacin in most cases showed good results and, since it is effective orally even in small roses, it is the broad spectrum antibiotics of the choine in treating outpatients or when the result of
culture has not been reported
